Travel · Replay is an independent project based in Ontario, Canada. This page explains, in plain language, what data we collect and why.
Last updated: August 2026If you create an account: your email, a display name, and any optional details you add (first name, last name, country, city, profile photo, bio). If you publish a trip: everything you enter in the form — itinerary, addresses, prices paid, photos. This content is public by design, since sharing it is the whole point of the site.
With your consent only, Google Analytics records traffic statistics: pages viewed, time on site, approximate location, device type. Your IP address is anonymised. If you decline, no measurement script is loaded at all — the site works exactly the same.
We don't sell any data. We don't show advertising. We don't resell your photos or trip stories, and we don't use them elsewhere without asking you. No content in the public feed is disguised paid placement.
Three technical providers: Supabase (database and photo hosting), Vercel (site hosting) and, if you accept, Google Analytics (traffic measurement). These services may process data outside Canada, notably in the United States.
You can view, correct or delete your information at any time from your profile, or by writing to us. You can also change your cookie choice using the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page. For full deletion of your account and trips, write to us — we handle it manually.
